About ThunderClan
ThunderClan is the Clan most readers meet first. The very first book follows a kittypet who leaves his Twoleg home to join them, and many of the series’ best-known heroes have lived in ThunderClan’s camp.
ThunderClan cats are forest hunters. They move silently through ferns and brambles and are at home in the shadows under the trees. Their territory changes during the series, but it is always wooded, and their camp is always tucked away somewhere sheltered.
More than any other Clan, ThunderClan is known for taking in cats who were not born there, from kittypets to loners. That openness has caused arguments with the other Clans, but it has also given ThunderClan some of its greatest warriors.
