About ShadowClan
ShadowClan lives in the darkest part of the forest, among pine trees and marshy ground. They hunt at night and eat prey that other Clans turn their noses up at, like frogs and lizards.
ShadowClan often plays the villain in the early books, and it has had some dangerous leaders. But the series shows that ShadowClan cats are much more than that: they are clever, tough and fiercely loyal to each other.
Several much-loved cats were born in ShadowClan, including Yellowfang, the grumpy but wise medicine cat who later found a home in ThunderClan.
