About RiverClan
RiverClan cats are the only Clan cats who swim. They fish in rivers and streams, and their thick, sleek fur keeps them warm in the water. Other Clans find this odd, but it means RiverClan rarely goes hungry, even in leaf-bare.
Because they eat well, RiverClan cats are often described as glossy and well-fed. They have a reputation for being proud and independent, and they do not like other Clans telling them what to do.
RiverClan has had some of the most interesting medicine cats in the series. Mothwing, for example, was a gifted healer even though she did not share her Clanmates’ belief in StarClan.
